How it works
In this team pickleball format, each team will consist of 4 players (2 women, 2 men) who compete head-to-head against other teams.
Matches include:
Game 1: 1 Men's Doubles
Game 2: Women’s Doubles
Game 3: Mixed Doubles
Game 4: Mixed Doubles
(After all 4 games are completed, each player has played two games.)
THE SHOWDOWN
Game 5: Singles - Rally Scoring Match, switch players at every 4 points (if necessary). 45+ Division will play doubles.
*** This rule applies equally to both the men’s and women’s divisions: once two players have competed together as partners, they may not partner again for the remainder of the game.***

PICKLEBALL COMPETITION DETAILS
Join us for an exciting pickleball tournament featuring a round-robin format followed by a medal round in each age group. We'll be using Franklin X-40 Pickleballs and strictly adhering to the USAP 2024 pickleball rules. Joola MOD-TA, Gen 3 and 3S are not permitted for this tournament.
During gameplay, receivers must clearly and audibly call 'out' shots during the game. For scoring, every game will go up to 11 points, win by 1.
AGE DETAILS
All members must be within the age limit. For example, if one player is 28, the team cannot compete in 35+ division.
COMBINED DUPR RULES
All teams must combine their total DUPR. For example, a combined DUPR level of 15.72 cannot participate in levels under 15.6 DUPR. All scores will be recorded to DUPR except for game 5.
Players without a rating are considered as 3.0 DUPR Level. For example, if all 4 players DO NOT have a DUPR rating, their combined DUPR will be 12. There is now DUPR rating restrictions for Beginner and Intermediate level. This means that anyone with a DUPR rating of 3.6 and above cannot form a team with Beginner Division even if all your combined DUPR adds up to less than 13.5. For Intermediate division, no players over 4.1 DUPR rating can participate in that division. We have created this to keep the games as fair as possible.
MULTIPLE DUPR ACCOUNTS
We want to play as fairly and competitive at all divisions and levels. We will now strictly monitor your DUPR accounts and if we find out you have another DUPR account with a higher level, we will use that DUPR rating at our events.
